Complete Organization Onboarding
Use this guide when Pharaoh routes you to Organization Onboarding after sign-in or invite acceptance.
Onboarding is organization-level setup. Pharaoh keeps the current organization in the full-page onboarding flow until mandatory profile and billing requirements are complete. Optional setup steps can be completed during onboarding or skipped and handled later from the normal console.
Before You Start
Section titled “Before You Start”- You need to be signed in with an organization attached to your session.
- You need the correct profile details for yourself and the organization.
- Billing setup requires an owner or billing manager. If you do not have billing permission, stay on the billing step and ask an authorized operator to complete it.
- Endpoint and team setup are optional. Skipping them does not reopen onboarding after required setup is complete.
Step 1: Confirm You Are In Organization Onboarding
Section titled “Step 1: Confirm You Are In Organization Onboarding”The route is /onboarding. It is an authenticated capture route, not a sidebar page.
What to expect:
- the normal sidebar shell is hidden
- the page title shows
Organization onboarding - the flow moves through profile, billing, endpoint setup, and team invite screens
- the side panel says whether mandatory setup is blocked or complete
If you open another protected route while onboarding is incomplete, Pharaoh sends you back to onboarding with a safe return path. Use Logout if you need to leave the flow.
Step 2: Complete The Profile Step
Section titled “Step 2: Complete The Profile Step”The Profile step is mandatory.
Fill in every required field:
First nameLast nameJob titleOrganization nameCompany sizeIndustry
Select Save profile. Pharaoh stores the personal fields on your user profile and the organization fields on the active organization. If any field is missing, Pharaoh keeps you on the profile step, shows the validation message, and moves focus to the first field that needs attention.
Step 3: Complete Billing
Section titled “Step 3: Complete Billing”The Billing step is mandatory. Billing must be active before the organization can enter the operator console.
If you can manage billing:
- Select
Continue to billing setup. - Complete the billing setup flow.
- Return to onboarding.
- Select
Check billing status.
If you cannot manage billing, Pharaoh shows that an owner or billing manager must complete billing. You remain blocked from the main console until an authorized operator completes billing for the organization.
Step 4: Connect The First Endpoint Or Skip
Section titled “Step 4: Connect The First Endpoint Or Skip”The Endpoint setup step is optional.
Use it when you want a pilot computer connected during onboarding:
- select
Generate enrollment tokenfor a short-lived token - select
Open installer workflowto use the full endpoint install flow - select
Use this endpointwhen Pharaoh detects an endpoint you want to use for onboarding
Select Skip for now if you want to connect endpoints later from Endpoints.
Step 5: Invite A Teammate Or Skip
Section titled “Step 5: Invite A Teammate Or Skip”The Team invite step is optional.
Enter a teammate email and select Send invite when another operator should help manage endpoints. Current organization invites assign the existing viewer role on acceptance.
Select Skip for now if team setup belongs to a later rollout.
Step 6: Open Pharaoh
Section titled “Step 6: Open Pharaoh”When required setup is complete and every optional step is completed or skipped, Pharaoh shows Open Pharaoh.
Select Open Pharaoh to enter the main console. If onboarding started because you opened a protected route directly, Pharaoh returns you to the safe original route when possible; otherwise it opens Home.
